Abstract
The development and validation of econometric models regarding the revenues and expenditures of the compulsory medical assistance insurance funds in the Republic of Moldova is a necessary process for comparison activities from a chronological and regional perspective, making it possible to discover distorted manifestations over time or in a territorial profile.
The purpose of this research is to build and estimate econometric models regarding the revenues and the expenditures of the compulsory medical assistance insurance funds in the Republic of Moldova, to be used for their forecasting.
The results of the research are econometric models developed and validated by the author regarding the revenues and the expenditures of the compulsory medical assistance insurance funds in the Republic of Moldova, being also a instrument for the use for econometric analyses of revenues and expenditures within the financial management of the health system, constituting a direction for its development.
